Steel Grannies

Sami Leutola’s Steel Grannies is a series of four human figures cut from steel and placed on the street level in various parts of Rautatienkatu street. The work is a tribute to grandmothers, that is, super grannies who often go unnoticed by passers-by. The following four grannies can be found along Rautatienkatu:
