The portrait relief depicting engineer and honorary councillor Johan Theodor Lindroos (1867–1952) is mounted on the wall of a former administration building at Vesijärvenkatu 11, to the right of the main entrance. Johan Theodor Lindroos was an engineer, a member of the Lahti city council and one of Finland’s most influential industrialists whose many achievements include participation in the planning of the water supply network in Lahti.
