Environmental art

Created by the Lahti Artists’ Association, the sculpture park in the health forest next to Päijät-Häme Central Hospital was completed in summer 2019. The sculptures made by 11 artists are placed along a path that circles the Likolampi pond.

Most of the works are made of wood and other natural materials. Some of the sculptural pieces are figurative, depicting people and natural motifs, while others are extremely reductive abstract sculptures. The works were designed with disabled park users in mind.

For more information about the sculpture park and the works there, visit the Lahti Artists’ Association website (in finnish, link opens in a new tab).
