Steel

Aimo Taleva’s Forward is part of the Radiomäki sculpture complex. It is located in the area between the sports field and the museum. The sculpture is 4.2 meters high, and its frame is made of steel bent into a wave-like shape. A fan of vertical steel tubes adds support and an additional aesthetic element. The appeal of the work lies in the ascending wave-like motion, whose upward momentum creates an association with positive change, growth and forward movement. The delicately harmonious construction is reminiscent of a harp, creating an almost musical beauty and impressive rhythmic flow.
