Registrations open on August 1, 2024. Contestants are requested to register via the Lahti City Museums online store. All posters are to be submitted in digital format between August 1 and November 30, 2024 4.00 pm CET. All submitted entries must post-date January 1, 2022.

You may register for Category C anonymously if you wish. There is no registration fee for entering Category C.

Instructions to register

You can access the electronic registration system via the Lahti City Museums online store.

    1. In the online store, select ‘Poster Triennial’ and choose category A, B or C.
    2. Fill in the required text fields and add the product to your cart.
    3. If you are not automatically taken to checkout, click on the shopping cart icon in the upper right corner.
    4. Make sure you have the correct product in your cart and click ‘Proceed to Checkout’.
    5. Fill in your first name, last name and email address, accept the terms of delivery, and proceed to payment by clicking ‘Accept Order’.
    6. After payment, you will receive confirmation from Paytrail. You can then upload your competition entry into the system. You will also receive email confirmation of payment.
    7. Upload your image file in the marked field and fill in the additional required information in the text fields. Click ‘Save Poster’.
    8. If you are entering more than one poster in the same category, click ‘Add Poster’ and repeat step 7.
    9. When you have saved all your posters (max. four per contestant) and the required details, remember to click ‘Submit Posters for Judging’. After you submit your entry, it can no longer be edited. You will receive email notification confirming your file transfer.

    Prior to clicking ‘Submit Posters for Judging’, you can edit your image files and details until the end of the registration period (August 1 – November 30, 2024). You can access your files for editing via the order confirmation sent to your email.

FILE SPECIFICATIONS

Kindly submit your poster in digital format, adhering to the following specifications:
RGB color space
Long side of the image file 30 cm / 3508 px
300 dpi image quality
File format JPG (Image quality: Maximum / Compression: None)

For an entry fee of €20 per artist/collective, you may submit up to four posters in digital format via this website.

SELECTION OF PRIZE-WINNERS AND EXHIBITION POSTERS

The prize winners will be selected at the exhibition. Prizes will be awarded to posters representing high standards of creativity, originality, aesthetics, effectiveness of visuals and communication.

  • The Competition Committee will select the posters to be featured in the exhibition.
