The exhibition, aimed at the whole family, presents cute animal figures from Malva’s art in sculptural form. This multi-sensory exhibition invites you to enjoy yourself!

In the exhibition, you will encounter a clever and playful otter, standing on its hind legs and watching. A trusty cow moos amongst its friends. A brave capercaillie flicks its tail feathers as a dog gnaws on a bone. What other animals can you find in the exhibition and what are they doing?

Malva’s art collection includes a significant number of miniature sculptures. This is due to the fact that, before the opening of Malva, the Lahti Art Museum was located for years in the attic of an office building. Large, let alone heavy, works simply could not be brought into those spaces. It’s easy to see that the premises available to the museum have partly guided the accumulation of the collection,” says Susanna Korhonen, Collections Curator.
