Come and experience the Jeremy Shaw: Phaze Shifting Index exhibition by moving yourself and living to the rhythm of the art, under the direction of dance artist Leena Keizer.
Tanssien teokseen contents will be introduced to the participants at the museum’s Balcony (3rd floor). After the introduction we will proceed to the exhibition. The work is approached by creating movement loops, where the repetition of a simple movement creates a trance-like and bodily experience. Through various trajectories, shakes, rotations, pulses and arcs, one surrenders to experiencing the work communally and body-specifically. Participation does not require prior knowledge, but please equip yourself with light clothing suitable for movement. The duration of the event is about 1.5 hours.
A series of Tanssien teokseen events will be organized five times: each individual event is a whole of its own kind.
