Path of Craftsmanship: stories of Precious Metal students

The event has ended

At the Taidon tie (Path of Craftsmanship) exhibition, fresh Master Engraver and Master Goldsmith graduates present their jewellery and different study paths from Artisan to Master Engraver and Master Goldsmith. The exhibition showcases jewellery made by Precious Metal students ranging from first practice pieces to the final master’s projects. The exhibition also highlights Lahti’s long tradition of Precious Metal education.

The selection includes unique capstone works of 16 Master Engravers and Master Goldsmiths. The jewellery features colourful diamonds, different coloured gold alloys, enamel and shiny gemstones alike. High-quality hand engraving can in turn be admired in the form of various metal and glass objects, such as jewellery and statuettes. The exhibition also presents the different styles of precious metal professionals, their daily life and everyday work in businesses around Finland.

The “Path of Craftsmanship: stories of Precious Metal students” exhibition is open from 12 November to 1 December at Malva’s Cellar Gallery.
